Climate 17 city projects secure £70k in funding

SEVENTEEN youth-led climate projects across Bristol have been awarded nearly £70,000 in additional funding as part of a global programme to support young people tackling the environmental crisis. This follows the first round in May 2024, where £35,000 was distributed to 11 groups in the city.
The funding comes from the Bloomberg Philanthropies' Youth Climate Action Fund, which is supporting initiatives in 98 cities worldwide. In Bristol, the grants are aimed at young people aged 15 to 24 and are distributed in micro-grants ranging from £800 to £3,500.
