Appeal Police release image after pet mauled to death in dog attack

A MAN is being sought by police as part of an investigation into the death of a dog that was attacked and killed at the Harbourside in Bristol.

On Friday, August 8, at around 4pm, a dog was attacked by a larger dog in Hanover Place while being walked by its pregnant owner, Charlotte Sipson.

Charlotte's dog, a Havanese called Max, died of his injuries.

The larger dog was described as a grey short-haired mastiff or pitbull type.

Avon and Somerset Police have released an image of a man they'd like to speak to as part of the investigation into the incident on Spike Island.

He is described as white, believed to be aged in his 20s or early 30s, about 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall and of a skinny build.
