Mayor invites children to design Christmas card and write a festive poem

THE Mayor of Brentwood, Councillor Jay Laplain, is inviting all school-aged children in the Brentwood borough to join this year's Christmas celebrations by participating in the Mayor's Christmas card design and Christmas poetry competition.

This festive season children are encouraged to express their creativity through art and poetry.
For the Christmas card design competition, students are asked to create a festive illustration on A4 paper, in a portrait format, showcasing their vision of Christmas. Please avoid using materials like cotton wool or glitter on the Christmas card, as designs must be easy to reproduce.
