A COORDINATED, multi-agency initiative delivered a clear message to prolific offenders with the latest operation targeting crime in Boston with solid results against shop thefts.

A number of enforcements led to multiple arrests and charges for repeat shop theft offenders, swift action on a CBO breach, interception of four thefts through proactive patrols, and evidence collection for ongoing investigations.

Boston's latest ‘Operation Continents’ which targets retail crime has delivered a consistent and clear message to prolific offenders that shop theft and associated crime will not be tolerated.

With Boston historically recording the highest rate of shop theft in the county, this initiative marks another major step forward in reducing offences and restoring confidence among local businesses and residents.
