Theo rewarded for outstanding performances

Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde AC's Theo Minns was one of the winners at the Active Blackpool awards evening.

He was presented with the prestigious Quayle Trophy for Young Achiever of the Year, based on his outstanding performances during the year.

The final event in the Club Fell Championships was the Waddington Fell Race, which took place over seven miles with 1,360 feet of ascent.

It included the final Inter Club race as well, with 13 athletes from BWFAC taking part - which is a record for the Inter Club series.
