Rev Canon Tracy Charnock, who is vicar of Holy Trinity and St Peter's Churches in South Shore, said: "Having been the vicar of this area for the last 14 years, I can say that through lived experience here, there is much more to Blackpool South than what the data sets show.

"Yes, there is poverty and deprivation. Many people need to claim benefits due to ill health or low income, but most people would rather be out working.
