St Annes 10-mile race again proving popular with runners

More than 250 runners competed last weekend with the return of the St Annes 10-mile race.

The ninth annual race was held last Sunday, when Vale Royal’s Chris Williams took top spot in a time of 52:24.
The event always sees a strong field racing along the Fylde coast.
Organiser Tim Armit said: “It’s tough to come and run along the shoreline in January but our fabulous clubs send huge numbers of people to challenge themselves on the course.
