Resort band raises funds to help young access autism diagnosis

Blackpool band Kind Hearted Thieves has celebrated reaching its fundraising goal to pay for private autism assessments for two children in the Blackpool area—with a cheque presentation held at the Blackpool Makers Market in the Winter Gardens on Sunday.

The band's campaign included the June release of a charity single featuring British folk artist Frank Turner, followed by a fundraising gig at Bootleg Social in October. The events drew strong community backing and raised enough to cover assessments for one Blackpool teenager and another child in the wider area.
