Hat-trick of wins gives ladies the perfect start to their new season

Blackpool FC Community Trust (BFCCT) is delighted to say that the Blackpool FC Ladies players have enjoyed a flawless start to their 2025/26 campaign.

The players carried their excellent early-season form into a third consecutive victory in their last match, which ended with them edging out Morecambe FC Women 2-1.

That victory saw the Seasiders follow up previous wins against Penrith (3-2) and Fleetwood Town Reserves (3-2) in their opening two matches of the season, where the players demonstrated both resilience and quality in equal measure.

Their campaign had started with a statement comeback victory against Penrith.

That was a game in which the Blackpool players had found themselves facing a two-goal deficit.

However, they managed to get back on level terms thanks to goals from Caitlin Packer and Jess Lord.
