A BIRMINGHAM hotel that has played host to celebrities like Johnny Depp and Tom Cruise is set to put 'don't tell' tape over visitors' phone cameras in its downstairs bar.

The Grand Hotel's downstairs restaurant is set to turn into a speakeasy-style nightclub on Saturday nights, and cameras are banned. Club 1879 will give guests tape to go over their phone cameras, a callback to the time when it was illegal to booze.
