Villa have put down massive marker - Morgan

MORGAN Rogers believes Villa's "massive" 3-0 win at Brighton could be a defining moment in the club's Premier League campaign as they challenge in three competitions.
Villa strengthened their bid for European qualification by leapfrogging the Sea-gulls into seventh place following a clinical second-half display at the Amex Stadium on Wednesday night.
Success on the south coast was a sixth straight victory for Unai Emery's side, who begin a two-leg Champions League quarter-final with Paris St Germain next week ahead of finishing the month with a Wembley FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace.
England midfielder Rogers laid on goals for Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio before Donyell Malen completed the scoring in the tenth minute of added time.
"A team competing in a similar area of the table as us, we knew it was a big game," said Rogers. "They were ahead of us going into it and we knew it was a big three points in a big week for us, to see where the rest of our season goes, especially in the Premier League.
