So this year, we all sat down - it’s the same team who work on it - and it's made by Raise the Roof, which is Phil Spencer and I's production company.

We wanted to stay true to our craft roots, but have a very strong message about Christmas being collaborative; you cannot do it all yourself.

The only way to have a fun Christmas is to allow other people to bring something to the party, metaphorically and physically. There shouldn’t be women lying awake all over the country with lists in their heads.

What about collaboration and Christmas traditions?

I think the other thing about being collaborative is that you can take risks with your traditions.

A few years ago, we had some friends spending Christmas with us. They told us that they always have ham, mashed potatoes and peas on Christmas Eve. It’s their family tradition. And we were like, 'Oh, my God, that's brilliant, because Phil gives me a ham every year.
