Stop this anti-social behaviour!

IS it just me or are more football fans getting fed up with the constant moaning and abuse on social media when it comes to discussing their team?
-
It seems there is a minority who will complain about anything and everything just because their team doesn’t win a game. A game they had convinced themselves they should win easily and when the team either loses or draws, the vitriol and fury is off the scale.
The manager did not pick the right team, did not choose the right tactics, did not rotate players, did not pick the right formation, did not pick X, Y or Z, is useless or a clown.
After 40 years of hosting a football radio phone-in I am all for differing opinions, debate and argument about games, players and tactics, and am happy to agree to disagree. I will also argue to my last breath if I believe someone, or something, is right or wrong.
However, what really gets to me on social media is when people are abused just because they have a different opinion.
Anyone who says their team should be walking all over the opposition just because they have spent more money and have better players surely cannot have played a competitive game at any level.Whatever your team is trying to do, there are 11 fit, equally determined, men trying to stop them doing it. If your team is talented, confident and winning games, the opposition generally will not play an open game but will have a system that is set up to frustrate and keep the game as close and tight as possible - and not lose.
Sure, we want our team to win and are understandably disappointed when they don’t, but look at two teams and not just one. Managers and players are also disappointed when they don’t win but that is football, and that unpredictability is why it is the greatest game on the planet.
