Players measure up for Taylor in defeat

MOORS boss Matt Taylor said the better team won as his side lost on the road at high-flying York City.

A goal at the start of the first half and a second just before the final whistle ensured all three points stayed with the Minstermen, ending Solihull’s run of three wins on the bounce.

“We knew how difficult this was going to be,” Taylor said.

“The players went out and competed.

“It is just disappointing that we concede inside the first few minutes, which is happening too often now. Then we concede in the 88th minute as well.

“We had some spells in the game when we created chances as well - but we didn’t take them.

“Having said that, I can’t say the better team hasn't won today, because they have.”
