Paramedic steps out to help families who have lost babies

WEST Midlands Ambulance Service student paramedic Maria Webb is walking nearly 100 miles to help break the silence around baby loss.

Maria, who is based at Sandwell hub, was today setting out from Himley Hall in Dudley on a week-long trek to Barmouth beach in Wales.
Camping overnight along the way and joined by her friend, Vicky, Maria hopes to encourage people to talk openly about baby loss, raise awareness and show solidarity with families affected.
