New driver who killed girlfriend while high jailed

25-YEAR-OLD LOST CONTROL OF CAR AT 80MPH
A CANNABIS-fuelled Midlands driver who killed his girlfriend after speeding in heavy rain has been jailed for ten years.
Joshua Bromley, 25, from Leamington Spa, was also disqualified from driving for five years after he killed Jessica Lees while speeding at 80mph and under the influence of the drug, Warwickshire Police said.
Ms Lees, aged 27, from Stockton, was a front seat passenger in the vehicle when the tragedy happened in November 2022.
