Murder hunt after man is found with fatal stab wounds

POLICE have launched a murder investigation after a man was found stabbed to death in a Birmingham house.

The grim discovery was made at an address in Alum Rock Road, Alum Rock, early yesterday. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We were called to a house just after 7am following reports of a man being found with stab injuries. Sadly, nothing could be done to save him.
“We're in the early stages of our investigation and a police scene remains in place. We'd ask for anyone with information to contact us via 101.”
