Mowbray: Old club will always be the top Cats

ALBION head coach Tony Mowbray insists there is 'no resentment' towards his former club Sunderland as he prepares to face them tomorrow lunchtime, saying it was an honour to be at the helm.
Mowbray took the Black Cats to the play-offs in 2023, losing to eventual winners Luton. Before being relieved of his duties in December that year.
Asked about his feelings towards them ahead of the game at The Hawthorns, he said: “I always want to win for the team I am at. I like Sunderland as a football club. I like the people. You have to respect that Sunderland, with its amazing stadium and fanbase, is an amazing football club.
