A THIEF or thieves smashed into a Christmas market trader's van while he was plying his trade on a nearby street.
Thieves smashed a window on Turan Atas' van, stealing £2,000-worth of stock
The smash-and-grab raid took place at the South Parade city council car park, at the junction of Upper Holland Road opposite Plantsbrook School on Friday.
Trader Turan Atas had been at his stall at the Sutton Coldfield Victorian Christmas Market in the town's Parade for the event's second day when the raiders struck.
