FAMILY REMEMBERS ATTACK VICTIM 8 YEARS ON
THE family of a 'larger than life' man who was killed in a 'cowardly and heinous way' urged people to remember him on the eighth anniversary of his death.
James Brindley was walking back from a quiet drink with his friends in Aldridge town centre on June 23, 2017, when he was stabbed in the heart.
The 26-year-old had reached a park called The Croft - just 400m from his parents’ home - when was confronted by Ammar Kahrod, who was 17 at the time.
A witness saw James raise his arm, as if he was trying to calm the situation down.
