Is Rogers set for an award-winning season at Villa?

JAMIE Carragher has described Morgan Rogers as a special player and believes he could be the driving force behind a potential Premier League title challenge.

Aston Villa have been keen to downplay their chances of competing with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City, especially with it not even being Christmas yet. However, they have now won their last nine matches in all competitions.

Six of those victories have come in the league, with the dramatic 3-2 win over West Ham marking a club-record run of consecutive Premier League wins.

Morgan Rogers turned the game on its head in the second half. With Villa trailing 2-1, he scored an equaliser shortly after the restart before netting a stunning winning goal in the 79th minute.
