Flat beer festival leads to 'indefinite break'

NEXT year's Great British Beer Festival is to be 'paused indefinitely' after the event in Birmingham earlier this year.

CAMRA - the Campaign For Real Ale - hosted the five-day event at the National Exhibition Centre last month, the first time in the city since 1983.
But CAMRA chairman Ash Corbett-Collins revealed the organisation is considering the future of the festival.
He said: "The Great British Beer Festival is paused indefinitely.
"We have to fundamentally review what the Great British Beer Festival is and whether it's something we do in the future.
"We know festivals work but GBBF as a concept might not be the future.
