Five jailed over role in firearms supply racket

OFFENDERS TO SERVE OVER 30 YEARS FOR GUN PLOT LED BY SERVING PRISONER
FIVE men linked to a gun running plot masterminded by a serving prisoner have been jailed for a total of more than 30 years.
The racket was smashed when police officers found a gun and ammunition in a Ford Fiesta parked in Quinton in October 2023.
Two people were arrested and checks of their phones revealed evidence of the conspiracy.
It emerged that prisoner Hamza Hoo, who was serving a prison sentence for aggravated burglary, used phones to plot the movement of guns.
