EX-EDITOR'S COLOURFUL IDEA HEADS TO STATES

A FORMER newspaper editor who turned his passion for colour into a growing business has won his first overseas commission.

Stacey Barnfield, who edited the Mail's sister paper The Birmingham Post, has created a bespoke colour palette for the world-renowned Corning Museum of Glass in New York.

Stacey's creative design studio, The Colour Palette Company, has already collaborated with Birmingham Museums Trust, the Museum of Liverpool and York Museums.

He founded The Colour Palette Company during lockdown when a Google image search for an old West Midlands bus created an emotional trip down memory lane.

He remembered the navy blue and cream livery that triggered a warm, familiar feeling and realised that everywhere has its own colour palette.
