MANAGER Chris Davies believes left back Alex Cochrane will be a fans' favourite by the time he leaves Blues.

Davies COCH-a-hoop with exceptional Alex

Cochrane has started 42 of Blues' 49 games this season, making 44 appearances across all competitions, to help them top the League One table and reach Wembley.

Only Christoph Klarer has made more starts and played more minutes for Blues this campaign.

"He's just got this position now that he's nailed," said Davies. "He really understands it. Alex is probably a good example of the whole team.

"I feel like we've managed to develop quite a lot of our style and the ways I want us to play through practice because we play so many games.

"Sometimes you train a lot and don't have so many games and you only get to see it on matchday, but because we've played every three or four days we've got to work on things and execute things.
