Chris is chewing over his teething troubles!

BLUES suffered another setback in Stoke on Saturday as Bosun Lawal's goal inflicted a third straight loss in all competitions.

- By ALEX DICKEN

Chris Davies' men were narrowly beaten at the bet365 Stadium and have now failed to score in their last three matches, all of which have ended in defeat.

Lawal's first-half header was enough for a Potters side who jumped up to second in the early Championship standings.

While the table means nothing in mid-September, Blues can't afford to lose much ground during this teething process. Here are the talking points.

Blues have given up their advantage

There were plenty of people who thought Blues might catch the Championship cold at the start of the season. Why? Well, they moved into the division without having to make wholesale changes.

Similarly to Ipswich a couple of years ago, who went back to back from League One to the Premier League, Blues arrived in the division with a team that was ready to compete.
