'Adored' footballer was newly wed

DIOGO Jota was killed alongside his younger brother Andre Silva, 26, in a car accident in Zamora, Spain, yesterday morning.

It was just 11 days after the 28-year-old married his long-term girlfriend, Rute Cardoso, in Porto. They shared three children.
Wolves signed Jota from Atletico Madrid in 2017. He played 131 times in the Old Gold and scored 44 goals before he was sold to Liverpool for £45m in 2020.
