£10m 'offer' for Brazilian teenage star

VILLA have made a “hefty” bid for Gremio starlet Alysson Edward.

That's according to Brazilian outlet Bolavip which claims Villa have gone from scouting the teenager to making a formal offer.

It reports Villa's bid is in excess of 12m euros (£10m) and that it has “excited some members of the board” as they look to rebuild for 2026 after a season that saw them finish ninth in Serie A.
