'Too light, too slow': PP criticises Anutin's handling of scam call centre crisis

Mr Natthaphong, also leader of the People’s Party (PP), urged the premier to take the initiative and form international partnerships to combat the transnational criminal networks behind scam operations.

“The prime minister can still take a lead on the world stage by proposing Thailand serve as a coordinating hub for data exchange and anti-scam operations,” said Mr Natthaphong.

He should set up a central agency to liaise with affected countries, Interpol, and international police networks, as well as supporting victims of human trafficking linked to scam networks.
