Thailand Post to focus on shipments to China

State logistics firm Thailand Post has targeted annual expansion of its parcel shipments from Thailand to China after they increased by 3% last year.
The state agency wants to strengthen economic ties between the two countries through parcel delivery services for both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumers (B2C), said Thailand Post chief executive Dhanant Subhadrabandhu.
In addition, the company has explored the use of multimodal transport options combining road and rail for shipments to China, while also leveraging its domestic network as a distribution hub for goods entering Thailand for onward global delivery via air and land.
