Public warned of heatstroke risks as temps rise

The public is being urged to take precautions against heatstroke after the condition claimed 21 lives in Thailand last year.

Deputy government spokeswoman Aiyarin Phanrit said people should take proper care of their health during periods of extreme heat, and anyone experiencing symptoms related to excessive heat or suspected heatstroke should seek medical attention to prevent serious complications.
