Miss World dedicates pageant win to Thais

>>Suchata “Opal” Chuangsri, the newly-crowned Miss World, yesterday dedicated her win to the kingdom, saying “this crown belongs to every Thai” in front of a roaring crowd who gathered at Suvarnabhumi Airport for her triumphant homecoming.
The event, titled “Homecoming Miss World 2025”, marked a historic return for the first Thai winner of the prestigious international pageant.
The occasion drew a large, multi-generational fan base and a long list of dignitaries, celebrities and former beauty queens.
“I don’t see this as pressure,” Suchata told the crowd.
