Myanmar junta leader Min Aung Hlaing will attend the 6th Bimstec Summit, which kicks off today in Bangkok, a senior Thai diplomat confirmed yesterday.
Nikorndej Balankura, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said Senior General Min Aung Hlaing will join the summit tomorrow alongside other regional leaders. "He will attend the summit, but his schedule remains unclear," Mr Nikorndej said.
