EV boom sees policy rejig

The Electric Vehicle (EV) Board yesterday approved adjustments to the EV3 and EV3.5 incentive schemes to align policies with global and domestic market conditions.
The revisions aim to provide flexibility in promoting the EV industry while preventing oversupply in the local market.
Narit Therdsteerasukdi, secretary-general of the Board of Investment (BOI) and secretary of the national EV board, said the newly appointed EV board endorsed the revisions.
