Chanathip warns BG of tough times

Veteran playmaker Chanathip Songkrasin believes the upcoming season will be one of the most challenging for Thai League 1 club BG Pathum United.

‘As Pathum are finalising their preparations for the newseason, the Thailand midfielder said the Rabbits have been training for more than two months with several new players coming in.

“This year the team have a more intense training programme. We have two sessions each day, in the morning and in the evening. We hope to have a strong season this year” said Chanathip.

“We did not meet our target last season. This year we have many new players at the club, therefore my job is to make everyone gel so that we can do better this year.

“This season, Pathum will play for five trophies and personally, I want to win at least one title. If possible, I want to win every trophy that I play for.
