Burrow, Bengals handle Commanders quite easily

Joe Burrow led the Bengals on two touchdown drives during the three possessions he played, helping Cincinnati post a 31-17 victory over the Washington Commanders on Monday in Landover, Maryland.

Burrow (9-for-14, 62 yards) threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Charlie Jones early in the second quarter to tie the game 14-14. Bengals backup quarterback Jake Browning (16-for-25, 159 yards) then connected with Mitchell Tinsley on scoring tosses of 13 and 21 yards to give the visitors a 28-14 halftime lead.
