Bluebik Group shifts to SET listing

This strategic move aims to support BBIK’s sustainable growth through mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and participation in bidding for government projects.

“We meet the criteria for listing on the SET. This provides us access to a broader spectrum of institutional investors, particularly foreign institutions, paving the way for long-term growth and more efficient fundraising,” said chief executive Pochara Arayakarnkul.

The company also aims to tap potential business opportunities stemming from investments of three virtual bank licence holders in their operation systems valued at an estimated 3 billion baht combined.

These virtual bank operators would also drive existing traditional banks to compete with them by launching new, innovative services, he added.

The company is also readying a more diverse service offering.

Ongoing geopolitical conflicts and the US's reciprocal tariffs are accelerating a strategic shift among enterprises towards cost reduction and the adoption of sovereign artificial intelligence (AI).
