11 pacts inked at RBC meeting

Thai and Cambodian military leaders made 11 agreements during a recent Regional Border Committee (RBC) meeting, pledging to maintain peace, avoid provocations and strengthen cooperation, with a priority placed on landmine clearance and crackdowns on cross-border scams.
Second Army Region commander Lt Gen Boonsin Padklang held a press briefing yesterday following the RBC meeting between Thailand and Cambodia, which took place at the Chong Sa-ngam permanent border checkpoint in Si Sa Ket's Phu Sing district.
The session concluded with 11 key agreements aimed at easing tensions and promoting cooperation along the border.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to previous agreements reached on July 28 and Aug 7, including a ceasefire that came into effect on July 28.
