Beauty queens inspire with charity celebration

New sisterhood is determined to do some good

A beauty pageant boss says her newly formed sisterhood is helping to make a lasting impact across Ayrshire.

Kay Morgan, director of the Miss Great Britain Ayrshire contest, hailed contestants for turning a pre-final bash into a charity celebration.

Women across the county, who are preparing to compete in the glittering grand final next month, have been using their platform to promote and help good causes.

They came together to make vital donations to Women's Aid branches from North, East and South Ayrshire at an event hosted by the pageant's headline sponsors Haus of Dentistry in Prestwick.
