DAY SIGNS THREE STRIKERS IN ONE WEEK TO BOLSTER HIS OPTIONS

FARNBOROUGH manager Spencer Day has hit the target and scored three new strikers this week - calling it a "real statement of intent".

National League South side Boro have announced the signing of Mason Bloomfield, Rakish Bingham and Dominic Poleon.

Bloomfield is back at the Saunders Transport Community Stadium after a short stint in Hampshire at the start of last season.

Bloomfield started his career with Dagenham & Redbridge in 2014, before dipping into non-league with the likes of Chelmsford City, Billericay Town, Grays Athletic, Witham Town, Brentwood Town and Aveley.

He then enjoyed loan stints in the EFL with Crawley Town and season-long spells in the National League with Barnet and Hartlepool United, before he signed for Bromley in February 2022.

Bloomfield scored twice in 13 appearances for the Ravens and is a Wembley winner, having helped Bromley to FA Trophy glory, in a 1-0 victory over Wrexham in front of more than 46,000 spectators, which is where he caught the eye of Boro boss Day.
