Super slimmers donate clothes to help charity

A Coatbridge Slimming World consultant and members of her groups were, for once, delighted to gain some pounds as they collected a fabulous four-figure sum for charity.

Generous Stacey McKendrick, who runs three groups in North Lanarkshire, and her kind-hearted crews raised £5100 for Cancer Research UK.

The money was collected by donating clothes, shoes and accessories that no longer fit to the charity's shops as part of the Big Slimming World Clothes Throw - an annual event that takes place in Slimming World groups across the UK.
