Campus relocation green-lit

Councillors have given the go-ahead to a project which will see a joint primary school campus in Glenboig relocated to a new building.

The village is rapidly expanding due to the construction of new houses and this growing population means the current Our Lady & St Joseph's Primary School and Glenboig Primary School campus will soon no longer have enough space to accommodate the projected number of pupils.

Therefore, North Lanarkshire Council has been planning to replace it with a new school, located on land to the south-west of the existing school.
