Award-winning music star to wow town club audience

A multi-award winning musician will perform an "intimate"gig in Coatbridge this Friday, June 27.

Blue Rose Code is set to treat music fans at the town's 50rpm club, based in The Georgian Hotel, to an unforgettable night.

Edinburgh-born singer-songwriter and guitarist Ross Wilson has been recording albums for over a decade as Blue Rose Code, building an enviable following and live reputation due to his charismatic stage presence and the unique sound he has developed.

Having previously played a sold-out show at Motherwell Concert Hall and Theatre on his last visit to Lanarkshire, and more recently a sell-out show at Glasgow's Pavilion Theatre, Ross is looking forward to playing in more intimate venues and stripping back the songs.

He said: “We asked fans where they would like us to come and play - places we perhaps hadn't been to beforeand 50rpm's name just kept coming up.
