Zero Point viewing suspended due to damaged roads at 'Wagah Border of Gujarat' but Republic Day parade at T-Junction to continue as planned
On the 77th Republic Day on January 26, citizens won't be able to do Seema Darshan at the Zero Point in Nadabet, the India-Pakistan border viewing point dubbed the “Wagah Border of Gujarat.”
Nadabet is a key Border Security Force area serving as a significant outpost for India’s border patrolling along the Indo-Pak border. Whilst Gujarat Tourism along with BSF have developed it as a popular Seema Darshan tourist destination, broken roads have forced a temporary closure.
There is decent inquiry from tourists to visit Nadabet for the Republic Day parade and activities like bike rally, magic show, fancy dress competition and adventure activities including free fall, giant swing, rappelling, rock climbing and zipline.
