More students opt for science as govt steps in

Sharp rise in number of students getting enrolled in Class 11 science stream; private and self-finance school gain the most

Backed by the government's financial assistance to meritorious students, more students got enrolled in class 11 science stream this year as compared to last year. According to Gujarat government's school education department, 1,27,560 students took admission in science stream in the academic year 2025-26 as compared to 1,25, 857 students in 2024-25.
