ACB to probe corruption allegation in R&B dept

The sudden collapse of the Gambhira Bridge, connecting Vadodara and Mahisagar districts, has laid bare the alleged negligence and corruption within the local administration. Taking the matter seriously, the state government had handed over the investigation to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). The Vadodara unit of the ACB has launched a 360-degree probe into the incident, which occurred on July 9, killing 21 people after vehicles plunged into the Mahisagar River.
