16 hosps, 10 schools sealed over BU norms

A senior official told Mirror that the civic body has decided to take stern action for the violation of BU laws. The AMC had issued notices to these hospitals, but they failed to comply.

"It is a matter of patient safety. Moreover, these hospitals violated parking norms also," the official said.

The hospitals were also given notices to regularise their illegal construction by paying impact fees, but no action was taken by them, forcing authorities to act.
