Class 6 CBSE students studying maths and social sciences without books for last three months
- NON-AVAILABILITY OF NCERT TEXTBOOKS
Over 100 days into the new academic year, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) students and schools are still waiting for their printed NCERT textbooks. A survey of CBSE schools in the city by Mirror revealed that Class 6 students have been studying without maths and social science textbooks for 125 days due to 'unavailability'.
Previously, books for classes 3 and 6 were unavailable for multiple subjects, and there was a noticeable delay in the arrival of textbooks for classes 9, 10, and 11.
Although textbooks for Class 3 and Hindi textbooks for Class 6 are now available, maths and social science books for Class 6 remain missing.
