Switch on to recycling tech, businesses told

FIRMS are being urged to join a new scheme to reuse redundant digital devices.

Hyndburn Council’s growth and sustainability boss Cllr Scott Brerton is calling on borough businesses to sign up to the government's new ‘IT Reuse for Good Charter.

This is a national initiative that encourages organisations to donate secondhand tech to help bridge the digital divide.

The scheme enables businesses to securely donate used laptops, tablets and smartphones to trusted charity partners.
