Student's trip painting goes on display at uni

A STUDENT'S painting, which celebrates a lost Pakistani village, has gone on display at a university.
-
Aiyra, from Accrington, (pictured right), who had never visited Pakistan before, made the two-week trip to the village of Domal to rediscover the cultural roots she says she had repressed in order to fit into Western culture.
Her colourful artwork inspired by this trip is on display in Preston at the University of Central Lancashire.
